I did a search but still have a question.....
Got a customer with about 1/2 an acre, they had a huge tree taken down yesterday and you guessed it the tree co left a ton of ruts. I guess they did me a favor by not running over and over the same section, instead he drove all over the lawn leaving shallow ruts, nothing too deep, just evrywhere. i plan on taking my roller over the first of the week, we are supposed to get alot of rain over the next few days. After i roll it out should i aerate as well??? The grass is still dormant here.

Wet it down and use a heavy roller.

Are you going to tow the roller behind your Z?

Not using the Z, it would make more ruts, some sections of the yard are pretty soggy. I am going to use a roller filled with water and push it around, it takes work but falttens it out nicely.
