Doing some brush cutting today, just rented the attachment. Worked really well even without high flow. I was surprised at the quality of the cut actually especially on that field.

Trying to catch up on maintenance and repairs while it’s dry out. Finally got the motor out back in my Scag. Happy to have that mower back it’s a great machine. We put in a FX691 to replace the Kawasaki fs651v.

That's a serious rear end on that Scag!

This motor is definitely more powerful, the air filtration is so much better too. Really like it so far. Same with the Radius, it’s been good but I find the machines very different. You sit high on the Radius compared to the Scag. The Scag is so much better on hills.

I had to shortblock my Hustler last year. FX850. 1250.00 for the short block and another hun for a new head. Which they ended up having to send me a second one because the valve guide out of the brand new one let go.

    What'd that engine cost you?

    About 2200 Canadian I believe.

A new maintenance account and we did a garden install there.

Yeah, we didn’t do the full landscape install. The company that did it planted everything in the existing soil which has a lot of construction material left over in it, and then he covered it with way too much mulch. So we had to dig/rake out the black mulch, put triple mix in and then put a little bit of the mulch back on.

Busy year and colder weather coming, I haven’t taken many pics of work, it’s mostly the same old maintenance jobs and the same old stripes. Equipment ran pretty well all year the new mower has been working out well. We got a Stihl BR800C to use that my sub has been bringing and it’s awezome, would love to get one myself. You don’t know what you’re missing out on until you use a powerful backpack blower. Here’s a few pics from our summer trips and my new landcruiser I’ve been working on.
