I used to live in Sac and did lawn care there as well as the Stockton area and the main problem in both cities is all the illegal immigrants mowing for like 15 a pop or whatever, which lowers the average rate significantly, and it's even worse in Sacramento, cuz it's not just the illegals, but it's also hard to establish route density cuz of it's sprawl and being rural as hell people expect it even cheaper. The illegal immigrants undercutting the competition are all over California, so you might wanna leave the state altogether. I just moved to Oklahoma city and am looking forward to spring to see what I can do. I hear it's better here than in California, cuz you don't have all the freaking lowballers like California has, and more people are actually willing to pay a fair price for lawn service.
