Sales Commission

Trying to put together a sales commission package for my employees so I can have them do estimates too.

I don't know what the norm is in the industry but thinking 10%.

I figure this seems pretty fair; if they say book a $35 weekly mow and a basic fert package, they get about $80 (commission off 10% of the gross the services will render that year).

An estimate would take about an hour all said and done, and they aren't going to book all of them either. Some might be small jobs, but the above example is definitely a valuable customer and I would definitely pay $80 for that customer. Granted I do/pay for all the marketing.

Thoughts or input from anyone who already pays commission?
