Just wondering if everyone here has to collect sales tax on lawn maintenance issues / landscaping, or is it just Minnesota? Here, you have to collect for lawn / landscape work, but not for snowplowing.

Yes we collect and for a fleeting few months you think your rich then comes the quarterlys and we get to send 1500-6000 in to the state. Was never our money but it hurts me just writing checks that size none the less.

We service both Illinois and Iowa. Illinois does not require it. Iowa does. As far as I know snowplowing is included. I think any type of service is taxed in Iowa. I think it is dumb, but oh well, that's the law.
