Same mowers, controls push harder on one than other though.

I have (2) Ferris IS3000's that have both had some issues recently. I already posted the fuel issue a little bit ago.

On one mower, the controls push really easy & mows along pretty good. On the other, you have to push pretty hard. I'd say it goes about 1/4 slower than the other because of this. The slower mower has a better cut though because everything is adjusted about perfect right now on the deck. Any ideas why the controls would push so much harder? I'd like to have the ability to go the same speed as the other mower w/o straining my back so much pushing the controls as hard as I have to. It keeps wearing out the welds on the seat because of the extra tension.

Kawasaki/61" deck on both mowers if it matters. ~1000 hours. on.
