What would be a good product to use on sandbur in turf areas without causing to much stress to the turf ? Thanks Scott.

We used either Strike 3 or Trimec with success. However, the stickers will be on top of and in the ground for the bare feet to step on for quite sometime to come. Caused by poor soil. Will be ongoing treatments for several years.

We have not been able to completely eradicate, but get under control so the children can run barefooted should they desire.

In our part of the country we see these mainly in lawn close to rivers and drainage ditches.

Image + MSMA is the best for taking out sandbur. However, this is only for bermuda and zoysia lawns. Image is not to be used on cool season grasses at all, unless the goal is to convert to a bermuda or zoysia lawn. Thought I would point this out, because you are posting from NJ and not FL or some other state with mostly warm season grasses.
