I recently bought my first commercial mower, a scag 36" belt driven. Everything is "stock" as of right now, but i want to know if it would be a good idea to get some gatorblades? I also would like to know what everyones opinion is on a mulch plate. I know they work real good on leaves, but how do they do in grass alone? thanks!

A tri blade is much better for mulching, those style mowers are bullet proof.

I like the Accelerator Blades from Scag. I love the stripe it leaves behind. I was never big on my walk behind until I put these blades on and saw what they did my hours shot up on that unit since I put them on.
