I'm looking to upgrade my 52" Husky MZT to a 60" on one of the above. They're all relatively around the same price, but I wanted to get some input. I mow mostly my lawn at 3.5 acres, but I may mow the neighbors while away on vacation at another 3 acres. Ferris dealer is just down the road, but my Husky has left me with a bad taste about Briggs engines. The SCAG come with a Kohler Command and ZT3400. The other 2 dealers are within 15 miles and are both good dealers from what I gather. What do you guys prefer and why? That SCAG military discount is pretty enticing at 15%.

The Patriots don't come with the velocity decks, but they do have the 3400. I tested the Ferris ISX800z w a suspension seat, and i felt like I was on a cloud compared to mine.

I love my Exmark Radius X! It rides great, never bogs down and cuts beautifully. My only complaint is that it's cupholder is too small. :(

That's an all new suspension on the 800. I need to get out and test it. No question on which one I would opt for...

What do you lean towards? I'm also in SWMI and the Ferris dealer is only 5 miles down the road. I demoed the 800 on Sat. It felt like a cloud compared to my Husky.

I have a Ferris IS600 48" 25HP briggs (with a do over I get a bigger deck). The suspension works.. They build a great mower but I think they all do to one degree or another... I'm in St Joe and will be in Berrien Springs hopefully this weekend. Have edging and a couple of shrubs to shorten for a friend, probably mow for her again.

I ended up buying the Ferris ISX800Z with the Vanguard engine. That independent suspension mixed with the suspension seat was just too much to pass up on. I should be getting it today!
