Is it normal when ever i engage the blades I hear a little bark sound. Anyone knows what is causing the bark sound.

Thanks for the info. I was assuming thats what it was, but I really didnt know.

This started happening when my little brother was cutting grass for me and while he was going foward at full speed he though it would be a good idea to ingauge the blades.:nono:

Thanks a lot for the replies

Actually "it is caused by electric clutch plates meshing as the mower comes up to speed. This is normal." Page 14 in my Turf Tiger owners manual. It also says to engage clutch deck drive at 3/4 throttle. Opening it at full throttle or very low rpms shortens the clutch life.
