    This happened a while ago (11/30/07) but i just read a small article on it in Landscape Contractor National. Just wanted to share, sorry if its old news to some.

    i think being heavily fined for not taking proper measures to control an obvious invasive species that would do millions of dollars in damage enviromentally is very reasonable.

    Well, after working for Scotts myself over a 4 year period, I can honestly say that I'm not surprised. I saw a LOT of unethical things at that company, with the most ridiculous ethics infractions directed toward their employees. There's a reason why the turnover rate is over 200% at some of their locations.
