Well we all know how much easier it is to seal a driveway that has been previously sealed. On a new or never been sealed driveway, what have you had the best luck with - squeegee or horse hair brush??

I seal with a brush regardless of the surface being new or previously sealed. When I provide an estimate to seal a new asphalt surface I am always careful to review the top coat. After a number of years in the business, I started to recognize the local paving contractors workmanship, which has help me adjust my initial sealing estimate. A new asphalt surface is one of the most challenging estimates to provide, especially if a contactor is bidding to either squeegee or brush apply the application.
