Is there a way to search for "answering service" without pulling up threads with just one of the words?

    thanks

no... I read on another thread that you are supposed to be able to add the word AND / OR between words you are searching for so that like answering AND service, only threads with BOTH of those words in them would show up. Well, Iv'e tried it and tried it and no matter how I search I get the same number of results each time. I think they MAY have fixed the software though, because a while back I was searching for a "walker walkbehind" and of course I was getting like 10,000 hits. Every thread with either the word walker OR walkbehind in them! now I search and it's narrowed down a LOT.

THe word "answering" yeilds 1309 posts with that word.

the word "service" yeilds 10000 posts

    "Answering service" yeilds 261 posts

you also could try... go advanced and instead of searching posts, search in "titles only", and see if any threads come up for you that way.
