Can someone tell me what the average season is for mowing in the Atlanta, GA area? Date for first mow and date for last mow?

I can't tell you about atlanta, but I'm in the same zone (Zone 6)as most of Tenessee, and my season goes from mid-late March until November 1.

I was in business in Atlanta/Vinings for 5 years. You can count on 34 cuts average. Of course with drought, less, and with heavy rains, more. Let it Grow is right on track.

I am in Cedartown, about 60 miles west of Atlanta, the decks were dropped and the lawns are cut as of this week. This 58 to 80 degree weather is unreal. If it is anything like last year grass will grow till November.
