JUST CURIOUS!!!!! HOW MANY OF YOU USE SEAT BELTS ON YOUR RIDING MOWERS.
If my Z starts to roll, the last thing I want is to be held onto it as it rolls on me.
Mine doesn't have seatbelts. I would never use it anyway. One good reason is what Big G said.
As the two above posters indicated, NEVER,... EVER !, use a seatbelt on a NON-ROPS bar (roll bar) piece of machinery. Your creating a death trap!
Problem with the ROPS bar,....you cant mow under trees!
I suppose these are the same reasons they don't have em on motorcyles either ;->
this post kinda makes me wonder if these 15 mph ztrs will sling u off of them.
I took the roll bar off of the Toro 325-D 4WD.
The seatbelt too.
The roll bar was so big and heavy it made the mower top heavy!
If you don't wear your seat belt the roll bar can kill you, or at least mash off your arm or something.
And you can't wear a seatbelt with a suspension seat.
They fasten the seatbelt to the frame of the mower.
So the bumps not only hit you in the back, when the seat bounces they hit you in the stomach too!
no.. but then again i have a WB!
if i did have a rider i wouldn't though as stated above.
we have two esby's now? any relation on you guys?
