I have a guy that wants me to seed the front part of his lawn, because the phone company dug it up to fix something. what do i need to do this? I have never done it before and would like too, but would it be better if i told him to find someone else?
Thank you

It's not that difficult...
At sometime early, have the seed, on the ground and covered with compost, so when soil temps get into the 50s, it will be the first thing to pop.

make sure not to plant seed if customer got a pre-emergent application. Seeding is best in fall.
For cool season grasses, pre-m can go down, after the seedlings are strong enough to survive it.
