not pictured are currently not running machines, a redhawk hydro 48"(needs new gaskets and possibly carb) and a 2001 SWZ that likely needs new rings, might just put a new engine on it.

oh and cant forget the honda commercial 21" thats used like 3 times a year lol.

oh and before anyone bashes me for running the mowers without belt covers, dont worry i was only cleaning/greasing them before the picture ;)

That reminds me of the pushmower we used in the 90's. Built tough.

It's a 1970 Jacobsen. I'd like to know how many miles I have walked behind that old mower. The engine uses some oil now days, but it still revs up and down ( has an adjustable throttle on it) nicely. That old cast aluminum deck is still very strong. I don't actually use it near as much as I used to, but it'll be here until it either dies or I do.

I remember trash picking a similar mower and it had a wind up starter on it. You'd wind it up and then somehow release the spring to let 'er rip!

We had one of those growing up, we had a fleet (about 10) sensation push mowers in the 80's, true pushers.....hard to push in zoysia

Is that masking tape on the deck?
toro 96?? what kind of properties do you do?
We use it for some of our larger commercial properties of 8-10 acres. We use it in the back, large areas where quality isn't as necessary. Some places it shines on speed/productivity, others I can almost match its productivity on my 72 Scag.

Played musical mowers this morning so conveniently have a photo of the primary equipment I’m running this season- 16hp MCGHS 42”, H27i 52”, MB23i 48”. I still pull out the walk 30” for one backyard but only until growth slows and then she takes it over with her electric for the summer.

Painters Tape. I remove and replace maybe mid season, keeps leading edge of deck clean.

That scag picture brings back some memories for me.
My first commercial mower was a scag walk behind 52", belt drive 13hp kaw.

OK, I never had a chance to drag ALL of them out to get a pic, so here's a 2020 photo.
Same 3 mowers on the trailer daily.

30" Toro Timemaster
21" Toro Super Recycler

Not shown: one more 30" Timemaster, two more 21" Super Recyclers, one non-running "donor" Super Recycler LOL

This makes me miss my old 52” wright stander. What a nimble machine.

Not a mowing “fleet” but they do identify as mowers to the uneducated, gas station strangers, who always ask me how I like “those” mowers.

Not all lined up in 1 pic - don't have time for all that but here’s what I’m running this year.

6x12 -“Service Trailer” - Hauls my Zspray lts, Stinger aerator, materials for small projects, etc.

7x18’ “utlility/equipment trailer” - Hauls my tractor, mini skid, materials, etc.

6x12’ dump trailer - just picked it up today and haven’t taken a pic.

I kept a 61” stander when I quit mowing - to mow my lawn with so it’s not in the “fleet” anymore.

I have the tractor for sale and have had a few offers but I didn’t want to sell it for what they offered. Now, for some odd reason, I’m getting a bunch of brush hogging calls and lots of mulch jobs where the tractor is a little better than the mini skid. So for now, the tractor is still in the “fleet”.

We had one of those when I was young. I'm pretty sure it was a Toro. The crank folded in half. You would flip the crank open and crank it a few times, then fold it closed. There was some type of release on the handle, so you were safely away from the blade when you cranked it. It was OK when it started, a PITA when it didn't want to start.
