Sharping Hand Tools

    What have you found that works best at sharping hand tools, pruners, loppers, etc. I have seen stones and also sharpeners like they have for scissors that you slide the blade through.

    I use a file. I carry several different sizes in my toolbox. Corona makes a small file for pruners. Lowes has them. You can buy a set of cheap files of various sizes from Harbour Freight.

    For the trouble of these 5-20 dollar deals I just buy another tool, now for certain
    types of loppers I do believe they sell just the blades and you can replace them.

    But like the hand shears, at 3-10 dollars each I have several.
