I recently asked my dealer about this blower. He said the power was similar to an EB630. He said it was a little bulkier than the EB630. It has some features that are better....a hush mode that kicks it down to 65dba (some guys may like that) and a sturdier frame.

I'll be in the market for a blower next year. If they are as nice as the T242 I just bought, then I will buy one.

I think I saw one at the dealership. Not sure about the model number.

He offered me to test it, but my redmax is still working so I did'nt pay attention. Looked much more compact than most blowers I've seen. Specs were something like 80cc, 200+mph and 750CFM. At least I think so ...

Great. I will be selling my 1yr old Redmax EBZ7001 then. It takes to long to warm up, and it bogs down for several minutes before it's ready to run. I also have the Redmax hand held 250, new this yr and it does the same thing. I just changed over from Shindaiwa blowers to Redmax because of all the great reviews. After this yr I'm ready to go back to Shindaiwa.

let me correct myself, the eb802 is already available. a member of another landscaping forum has posted photos and a review of it. he says it is the most comfortable blower he has ever used and its just as powerful as his eb8510. he only paid $500 for it ($20 more than the eb630) and he got a 2 year commerical warranty with it because he bought a case of shindaiwa mixing oil.

Must be they're out in some parts of the country.
