Shindaiwa or RedMax?

    Shindawia, because thats what Ive ever owned and there the best. If im not mistaken shin makes redmax also. So im sure redmax is just as good.

    I run them both. Actually, I think RedMax makes engines for Shindaiwa. Either way, they are very similar in design and performance. If one dealer is better than the other (unless they're at the same dealer), that's the one I'd run.:)

    Shindaiwa is one of the few brands that I have never tried. However, out of all the others, the Redmax is hands down the best!

    Shindaiwa for trimmers
    Redmax for blowers

    I"ll Second that.

    Redmax Blowers, Shindaiwa everything else. OK maybe not everything I have one Kawi Trimmer that is my favorite of them all.

    Redmax for blowers, cant comment on trimmers or anything else as I run stihl except for the blowers.

    Redmax makes engines for shindaiwa BTW.

    redmax hands down for everything escpiaclly blowers, trimmers and hedge trimmers. LawnInOrder
