just curious..... are these trimmers good? and where's the best online place to get them??
I have been extremely pleased with mine. I have the 272 (which is a beast) and the 242. Not one problem with either and the rapid load heads save time. They have a banner on for their website to the right of the screen that you can find dealer locations at. I go to my local dealer.
Shindaiwa makes excellent machines.
They are not sold online.
I just replaced a T270 (I think) that was 9 years old.......never needed service and never failed me.......
what string thickness does it run??
I have a T231, no problems with 2 years of service, I run .105 red and white Cub Cadet line from Tractor Supply Co.
I think I ran .151....it was the biggest I could find.....but I now run .105 with the new bump head
Shindaiwa makes a great machine. Your in Delran, get on route 73 and stop in to South Jersey Mowers. Shawn sells them. He's great to work with! If your looking a bit north... Rosedale mills in Pennington sells them as well.
Awesome performance. For lawns, get a T242.
I have a t-261 that i have had for about a year and i haven't had any problems with it. it starts on the first pull everytime and has lots of power.
