    Is this the best trimmer for $300 on the market?Dont know much about the new ones, but i can still get the T260 limited. Maybee with the pro 4 string head?

    Yup, skip two dinners out with the wife and spring for the T-270 if you can. The T- 260 is very nice, don't get me wrong. But don't you want the best? 260 is a bit lighter, but doesn't have the power of the 270, and there will be times when you need that power. Last for years and years also.

    OK, to answer your question...Yes, the T-260 is most likely the best option for $300.00 or less. I use the bump feed Shin head, two string, with Diamond Edge™ .95 line. Will look for Gator brand string next, as I have heard great things about it.

    A T260 at $300 or less is quite a buy on that machine. They list at over $350 and all the dealers around here get that.

    just got the last one on the rack with a free sprayer $40 VALUE. No t270s on the rack.

    i picked up the new t2500 wed. got the free sprayer and 6pk oil. 350 +tax
