It's not a perfect world. i would like to have a perfect driveway. i would like to have a perfect door.

I get the home owner, I'm the same way. I like my stuff perfect. It bugs me when it's not.

But in reality, minor imperfections will appear. We can't expect new stuff everytime it gets a minor imperfection.

Now if the driveway was harmed in such away it greatly distracted from it's look or was made unuseable, homeowner would have a case.

You're not even sure who did it.

I should have told them to go to the sand box on the pricing sure but I’m nice to a fault and I definitely regret it. Trying to hold my ground now considering we’ve always been booked 4-6 months and turn away 3-5 calls a day
You did good.
You don't owe them a driveway, but you are least helped them out.

I wouldn't worry. I don't think telling them to pound sand is best either. You did what was reasonable. That's all you can do.
