You get docked a point for leaving barcode stickers on the pvc fittings, and another point for not painting the pipe to match the wall.
Nice to see Leary has some competition!

Other note... melting poly on a brass saddle? I’ve always just used a hole saw. Then again, The smallest I’ve used is 1” threads...

Poly installers already had a propane torch in their toolkits, and a melted hole created zero loose particles, which was more significant in the era before every sprinkler head had its own screen.

Ohhh.... now I’m going to have to find pictures. I just returned from 10 days in Alaska so give me a day or two.

I’m still waiting for the guy (I forget his name) to post the rest of the pics of his great Calsense install. He just up and disappeared and left us all hanging!

You must like dry edges. Two inches is the norm around here.

Does someone actually measure this? I know they are manic about water on hard surfaces but wind does blow.

I've been using psi compensating sprays to keep the fogging down and minimize drift but what happens when a hard surface gets wet regardless?

A buddy of mine does drip line installs under turf to keep the water nazis at bay. I thank my lucky stars we don't have this issue up north.
