We are about to start our shrub bed weed control Pre-emergent in the next 2-3 weeks. We have been using a liquid application of dimension and gallery. We are considering granular as an option, maybe snapshot. What are some of your thought on effectiveness and cost?

I use Snapshot out of a gravity feed spreader,PIA but it works well.
How do you sell your service? 1 late winter pre-emerg and a couple of spot post emerg.

Snapshot will work well as long as it gets watered in. It is photo-reactive, and can be less effective if it sits un-watered. Dow recommends that it be watered-in within 3 days. Normal rainfall isn't always enough to be effective.

Those of you who have used liquid and granular shrub bed Pre emergent. Can you tell much difference in effectiveness?

I'm using Barricade (Prodiamine).
