We have a fairly large backyard that floods. We are located at the bottom
of a hill and our property seems to be sinking. Two large trees have their
roots coming up and when it rains, the whole yard has standing water.
I have three dogs that can't use the backyard due to the flooding problem.
Our neighbors are low also, but they don't flood like we do. I think part of the
problem is that the neighbors in back of us are higher and they drain all their water downhill, which leads to our yard. I've reported this to the village but
they don't care. Should we add drain tile through the yard and then add dirt
to raise it ? Can someone help me PLEASE!!!!

You can add the plastic drain pipe if you go some place lower to drain it to. Homedepot has all the parts just dig a trench first to see how it drains then if it is working drop in the pipe and cover it up.
