Side discharging tips

    I need some tips on side discharging I've mulched and bagged before, I have tried side discharging but need some more tips on how to do it.

    I remove the chute for best results, just make sure your safety works good as the blades are wide open so be careful. And possibly buy an ocdc or make one with the DIY threads on LS

    just discharge the grass away from roads, driveways, flower beds, etc.

    with side-discharge in dry conditions use the standard black plastic flap to minimize the safety risk

    make 2-3 outside border patterns blowing the clipping in the center....then cut your stripes out

    in damp/wet conditions it's imperative that the black flap be tied/secured in a upwards position so that the clippings fly out and up thus disbursing over a wider area (think like 3-4 feet easily) for that fine cut look

    If the grass looks thick on top and it’s a small hard, take the blower and just blow the clippings into the lawn

    Yeah I've tried that it took a lot of time away from the other 7 yards I had to do.
