    That's pretty cool

I once read an article in Farm Show magazine about a guy in Colorado (I think) who hauls horses all over North America and has a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins and a 6-speed manual who was about to hit the 1,000,000 mark. Good maintainance is the key besides being a well built truck.

Years in TDR there was an article about a 12 valve Cummins in a 1994. There is also a freight expediter who is about to put a million miles on a 1997 Ford van. Same engine, same transmission etc.

I hope chevy takes it from him and gives him a new one for free. He is located pretty close to me too. That is an achievement

It's a cool milestone. I'm curious as to what engine and tranny the truck has and how much of it is original!

That is pretty cool, but it sounds nearly impossible. To put down 1,000,000 miles in six years you have to drive at 60 mph, almost 11 hours a day, five days a week. Maybe the truck is team driven?
