we just got toro site pro at where I work .it's a great system... i am a irrigation mechanic for a golf course and new at this computerized watering system. does anyone here use an ET computer system????
I have been around them for about 15+ years. How wel they work depends on how well the irrigation system was installed. Some programming on the earlier ones were delphi based, I am not aware of what the newer programming is based upon.
The osmac I have experience with used printed circuit boards re-made by Motorola. Is this the same as yours?
I have found with ET systems, that on paper, they are a good idea. However, nothing can take the place of a superintendent's responsibility to monitor growing conditions on his/her course. The problem becomes, as sleepyhead states, is lack of program flexibility to adapt to the changing conditions on the golf course.
