The ammbusher is terrific for the money. My dealer sells them over the brushcat
What kind of blades do they have?
I think ammbusher has option of 4 small blades or two typical brush hog blades.
I had a davco. While it chopped 6" trees, the short blades did not mulch well or pick up material to re-cut very good. The longer blades will leave a better overall look in weeds and light brush.. In my humble opinion.
It may gave been stated already but if you go with a 72" deck you can always move over and only use 2/3 of the deck or so in thick stuff. I ran a cat br172 on a 277c for 2 days last week and it was a good cutter. Im sure they think its worth its weight in gold though. Seems to have held up well for the use its had (empty lots awaiting houses). I would not want a deck narrower than my tracks though.
