Cam anyone tell me any thing about a tree disease called slime flux ? Old timers in my area tell me often times it is death for a tree ,but if caught early sometimes you can save the tree with weekly sprayings of 50/50 mix of bleach and water, have been doing this for 6 weeks and it does appear to be helping. any info would be helpful, thanks in advance

While working for a large International Tree Company, I had the experance of treating a very old American Dogwood [ I believe a Bacterial Blight], I actually scrubbed it right off the tree[ verrrry thick and slimy], seemed like the important part was to phyically remove the mass off the tree, and than off the site..........Hope this is helpful, regards Saxon:waving:
