Hey guys, I recently purchased a slit seeder, and need some advice on pricing and the best practices for this service. I did a couple of jobs to test things out with good results. Typical job would be 3000 to 5000sq ft.

    My process-

    Mow the lawn short
Run the seeder - 4ish lbs per 1000sq ft - perennial rye/fine fescue mix
Blow the thatch and grass clumps to spread things out
Mulch cut the lawn, this time at a higher setting
    Spread starter fertilizer
Invoice client and send instructions on proper watering

    Questions-

How much to charge for this service. I have heard $100 per/1000sq ft.
What if there is excessive thatch? Would raking and disposal be included in the above pricing?

    Thanks for you help!

I saw your other post about this. Do you ever do smaller properties?

I try not to do the smaller ones the only thing I use my walk behind slit seeder for is tight areas on the bigger lawns
