what should i charge to slit seed per 1000 sq. feet. needing some ideas.
I did a yard somewhat close to your square footage, I charge $440 total. This cover renting the slit seeder, Seed, fertizier, straw and small grading to smooth the yard out. I pretty much did more than it needed, but if i was in just slit seeding only....$35 to rent the slit seeder, $80 for seed, 40 for fert., then 60 for labor...these prices is what i'll go by...they are a little priceing but it add a little in your pocket plus the labor. The 440 job took couple hour, so what you are doing should only take 30 min the most ( that going both ways with the seeder) , so doing this job I be around $220 or so. Hope this help. Someone else may have a different opinion about the price, but i think this is reasonable for me.
Seed type? Rate? Renovation? New Lawn? Seed cost?
