After this extremely dry year many of my customers lawns are a mess. Burnt out especially where the sun hits. What will give me a better result? slitseeding or aerate then seed. Ive done aerating then seeding in the past with decent results but the lawns have never been this burnt.

:blob3: all the real bad area i thatch, then aerate everything, with seed. im not a fan of slitseeding because if you dont get the dead stuff up all you have is rows of new turf and alot of dead turf in the middles.
