We are readying to start our company March 1st. We are considering the different small business software packages available and are seeking input. We have tried the free trial of the Groundskeeper software. Its not bad. We are concerned about it being tried and true, vs. something like Quickbooks pro. Any pros and cons to the above, or other suggestions are welcomed. Do you use software? What kind? How does it help accounting? Bidding? Payroll? Etc.
    Thanks from the far north!

I've used Groundskeeper since 2004 and I love it! Now I do not have employees so I cannot speak for how it helps with payroll, but for scheduling/routing, billing, estimating, and tracking expenses it is excellent. :clapping:

We use quickbooks pro with the bells and whistles. Handles employees very well.

We also use quickbooks but we use the contractor version which gives you a few reports you don't get with quickbook pro.
