    Terry or Dustin,
My mower is at Gaffers' Small Engine this week for the 2nd time because of engine troubles... He gave me a 27 HP Carbed Lazer to use while my mower is being fixed.

My question is: Why are the controls on the 27 smoother than mine on the 28 EPS? They dont make as much noise when I quickly accelerate, they are smoother through turns and seem to resist less. Any thoughts on why my mower isnt this smooth, and how to fix it?

    Thank you

There are several things that can cause one machine to feel smoother than the next. In your case it may be partially engine related. The carburated engine will hesitate slightly when you engage the hydros, while the EFI maintains its rpm's much better with much less change. It is also possible that you may have a slight amount of air in the hydro system as well. The noise would lead me to believe it's probably air related.

I'd recommend that you mention it to the dealer and have it looked at while he has it in the shop for the engine issue.
