I have kind of a dilema this year. In the past week I ended a rattler, and coral snake. Both on my own property. We live in an agrigcultural area, so I have become used to seeing the non poisionus variety almost every time I mow. Sometimes they make it out of the way, sometimes they dont.

My real concern is for my boy who is 1. He is all over the place and into everything. I dont want to get bit. least of all by a coral snake!

I have heard that moth balls will keep snakes away. Is this true? and does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

Moth balls can help but will have to be reapplied each time it rains

    Sulfur can be applied IIRC.

Run over them with your mower.
