I read some threads and did some research before posting this thread. During the first use this season of my Snapper ZTR Yard Cruiser (YZ145383BVE), the blades stopped about half way through the second job. This happened about 10 minutes after what appears to be the primary idler arm extension spring fell off under the motor, not on the deck. Does this cause the blades to stop? or is it a coincidence? I didn't know where it came from at the time. Did I likely do any damage by trying to finish the job before replacing the spring? What is likely causing the non blade engagement? Thanks for your help.
