My friend purchased one at the end of last year. I have three of Snapper's older ZTRs and the differences between the two are the blades are belt driven and the deck rollers don't swivel. On the fastback the controls are easier to get to and the deck can be raised up at once if you are fixing to mow over something that you shouldn't. It seems to be just like any of the other mowers on the market, but with a thicker deck. The only advantage I can see (and many won't agree with me) is the joystick makes it easier to operate. You have an extra hand free to change radio stations on your headset or push branches out of the way without slowing down.
