I was thinking about getting a new WB for the spring. I am considering a Snapper Pro Hydro 48". What do you think about it? If i get this mower what engine do you think...Kohler 15hp of Kaw 17? Or should i go with another brand. I really like my snapper dealer he used to work for a company we owned then started his own. I have bought all of my shindaiwa stuff from him and he gives me good price breaks.

let me know what you all think!!!

We used Snappers exclusively for the last four years. I switched this year to Wright Standers, but the Snappers are pretty bulletproof. They don't really get the respect of the "big boys", but feature wise and components used / fabrication, you can't really go wrong. I would go with the 17 Kawi over the 15 Kohler. We run all Kawis, and they are very reliable, easy starting engines. Add in good service and good pricing, and I think you've got somewhere to start. Good luck...
