Companies are shut down for the weekend sooo:

If you haul a piece of equip in the back how do you secure it? I do not recall hook points in the beds. I see guys driv'n around with skid steers in the back and I hope they are secured.

I use two 2" nylon ratcheting straps per equipment item. Ends are hooked over the rub rail either in front of, or behind the nearest stake pocket... usually in front since the machine will want to go backwards as you cycle it up with your hook. Ratchet them down hard and you should be good to go.

I know alot of guys that just throw them in containers unsecured. It's very rare that we put "heavy" equipment on our hooklift, but if needed I have a flatbed with D rings and rub rails that we chain them down to. :)

I will take a pic of my setup but i have 1/2" D rings welded in all for corners of the floor to chain equipment down.
