Where can I find sod in Massachusetts, looking for companies called Sodco. or Turfo but can't locate there phone numbers? Also just curious what some would charge for 5,000sq ft.....all the loam is down already, new lot...just laying the sod etc.?

I would charge $555.00 plus cost and delivery. Here, we get $1 yd to lay it . Just add that on to you cost. To find sq. yds. just divided sq. ft. by 9. anyway that's how we do it.

    Gold Star 800-631-3013 Lexington, Yarmouthport
    Tuckahoe Turf (RI)
    Kingston Turf(RI)

I think Sodco and Turfco are also in Rhode Island

$1,500 would be about the wholesale cost of 5k SF delivered.

Tuckahoe has very consistant quality. Had 2k today and will do 5k tomorrow.

We can not do it for $1 a yard up here. You can't get the walking dead for under $12/hour, and the other costs of doing business in the People's Republic of Massachusetts are plenty.
