I received a commercial property that seems the city had a work on the water lines and some prep with soil but is not leveled at all. I came up with 735.91 sqft. I am newly to this projects but will like to get into and learn.

In the garden centers currently per piece are at $1.79 and per pallet is at $175 +tax.

We charge $2-$2.25 per sq ft.
Thats not including prep work labor. But that is the price for install based on sq ft.

So you are looking at tear out? Maybe $1000 +. Add 4" good topsoil and level? $1000
800 sq feet of turf because it's good to order a bit extra? $1000

That's just a rough number to give an idea of what I may charge based on what you say. It depends on a few factors though.

$3/sqft if you have to excavate. $2/sqft if it is a blank slate and it is just soil/sod.

3-4 bucks per for complete r&r.

Do this size all the time nice days work with a nice profit at this price.

@ 750sqft +/- with what looks like some soil amendments to combat that clay...... I'd ignore the price per sqft and make sure you tack on a margin over your cost...as your going to have to purchase 2 pallets and have 15% material overage....assuming 450sqft a pallet and a lot of 'cutting' for the unique spots....don't forget overseed and prep-work blocking off that area with all the cars parked in the way...
