Looking for some help on pricing of sod and what I should charge for installation. I am looking at about 300sq. yds. I have already figured for black dirt, but not sure about site prep either. Any help would be great.

We charge .90 cents a sq ft which includes all prep but not topsoil.

.90 cents, wow, god bless you.. how much do you pay per sq. ft down there.. here in nj, its not common to see people doing it for .32 to .36 a sq. ft. i charge about. 38 to.46 if i know what i can get away with. i think i pay about .12 per sq. ft delivered...

I was thinking the same thing: "dang, I'm low as heck" 500 square feet is about 180.00 delivered (fescue) here in NC

Our market up here would fetch .35 to .40 cents per ft. No way would it fetch .90 cents but different locations will bring different costs.

I charge $2.00/sq.ft. to install. I add extra for prep depending on whats needed at that particular site, plus delivery, plus any factors that make the job particularly time consuming.
