Me and a helper can do 8,000 ft a day if pallets are staged correctly and not much prep work needs to be done. Working 10 hr day and taking a hour lunch... I say a day for your crew fairly easily.

Here is a 3000 sq ft sod job we did a few weeks ago. 5 guys 1 day
our pallets up here are small rolls at 464 sq ft. with the right crew we are able to do 6 pallets an hour laid and cut in. you should be done in under a day if there isn't any prep involved.
3,000 or 30,000. All day for 5 guys seems slow for 3k. Also, how did you like rolling out those rolls on a hillside? PITA

And we use a wmi big roll installer
