Does sod go into "shock" when it's pulled up from the field and laid to make a lawn? We have some Jaguar fescue sod that has begun turning brown...I think it's just in shock and will rebound, but others suspect that it's dead and needs to be replaced. It was just 8 or 9 days ago. ALSO - if it's in shock, how long does it typically take to appear pretty again. We've been taking care of it per the directions.

    Thank you for your help.

As long as some green is present it should be fine. All pieces turning completely brown = dead lawn
