soil test

    do people here do there own soil test or do you guys send it to a lab?

    send it to a lab or a local extension office youll get better info.

    Yes, I agree with Tim and Mr. Lawnzap. By sending soil tests in you will received better results and more consistent results. You can do some of the testing at home and good test kits exist, but the cost and the technique of doing you own leaves a lot of variables, so you can get highly varied results based on how precise and accurate your technique is at the time you do the test.

    I use several labs, depending on when I need the results, what results I need, and how much $$ I have to spend.
