We usually run into about 6 of the tree root problems each year. We have already been to 7 this year. What a pain in the butt. The customer is usually in amazement when they see it htough. They usually don't believe me when I tell them the tree is choking the pipe. Until they see it.

This is why irrigation systems should only be installed by certified, insured, and knowledgeable contractors.

Unfortunately, here in Raleigh, NC, the jacklegs bury their crap in the ground, where it is difficult to explain/prove what the problem is.

As for the roots, my problems are usually in the drip/mist lines that are run throughout the beds. Crepe Myrtles are the worst for doing that!
