When I start the engine and hit the gas the truck bucks and shudders. It vibrates in the cab. Once the engine heats up it doesn't do it as much, but when I am at a dead stop, and hit the gas hard the truck can't get out of its own way. Then the truck picks up and moves. Any thoughts of what the problem may be.

Sure it's an allison? you could only get that on the 8.1 and the 6.6, unless you swapped it yourself.
