I bought some property near San Antonio and I have learned that there are lots of scorpions in the area. Doing some research I found a pesticide called Diatomaceous Earth. It kills very good and you can feed the stuff to your animals to kill worms. People can eat it and it won't hurt them. Does anyone know anything about this stuff and where can I buy it.

(DE)..............Yeah, I remember that from an old soil science class years ago. Hmmmmmmm, let's see,.....uh, a soil layer that contains the skeletons of micro-organisms(diatoms/etc).....it also contains silicates that act like glass.....................ground very fine, these particles attach to the hairs of the insect(yes, insect hair)

Slow, but effective, the glass-like particles cut through the waxy body armor. There is a major water loss...............insect dead.

There's probably alot more to it, but, that's what I got off the top of my head.

Man, I wouldn't wanna breath that stuff.....................I'll stick to my cigarettes.
